MyTemp / Existing Homes

The MyTemp system was designed from the beginning to be easily installed into existing homes. A typical installation takes a couple of days and does not require cutting into walls or other invasive techniques. It works with almost every type of forced-air heating and cooling system including heat pumps. Wireless Smart Controllers allow whole house temperature sensing without the need to install additional wiring. The touch-screen main display utilizes the same wiring as an existing thermostat to control your heating and cooling equipment.

Pneumatic dampers, which control airflow to each room, are installed from the register side into the existing duct work. Each damper is connected to the master unit with a pressure/vacuum air line. The air lines are installed using a patented method that minimizes the need to disassemble your existing ductwork.
